The team also trained with world renowned Dr Robert Koester in Lost Person Behavior.
This crew is top notch, we can provide mapping of areas CSAR searched, clues, and other critical information to law enforcement investigation during and after searches in real time. This information can be given and is available for law enforcement at any time.
We have 4, FAA certified drone operators are our eyes in the sky, they provide crucial data and photographs that aids in the search of missing loved ones in addition to clue detection. Our drones have the ability to isolate colors, thermal/infrared, audio, video, spotlight, night vision and live broadcast.
Several members are not only Certified Swift Water Instructors, but we also have scuba divers and dive masters who can assist when necessary.
Kim & Sandy are the go-to people for families.

This group has been trained by World-renowned Fernando Moreira, who for more than 35 years, Fernando Moreira has trained trackers from Search & Rescue Teams, law enforcement officers, military personnel and outdoor enthusiasts across the United States as well as in several foreign countries.
He initially became interested in the art of man-tracking while serving in the Portuguese army in Angola. He has utilized his skill in tracking on a nearly daily basis since then.
Fernando has also assisted law enforcement officers in finding crucial evidence in many high-profile missing persons and homicide cases across the United States including Alaska and Hawaii.

CSAR will be starting a mounted search & rescue/recovery team. They will be required to learn basic ground search & rescue, along with other CSAR requirements / standards. We are hoping to have this team deployable by June 2023.
Our Cold Case Detective team are retired law enforcement detectives who still are determined to solve those mystery disappearances or to find that missing piece of evidence to help bring a case to closure. Our detective team will work closely with the police department of authority in a case and keep them apprised every step of the way.
We also have individuals that are experienced, trained and certified in evidence and bone recovery. Forensic Pathologist and ABMDI Certified Investigator are on the team, with access to numerous forensic specialties to request assistance from.
Though it is not normal for SAR teams to have a media person, it has been our experience that when dealing with high-profile cases, Incident Command and the searchers are needed in the field. Someone that can assist media without compromising the search / investigation is a must. Not only will/does this team be responsible (when needed)

Not only will/does this team be responsible (when needed) to provide the news outlet(s) with information, they will be responsible to photograph the team while in training or a mission. Photographs and video will be taken to show the public and agencies what CSAR can do. They will also assist the team with social media and webpage.
CSAR has been picked by the coroner's office to assist with mass fatalities if/when they occur in several counties within Ohio & Indiana.
It will be our responsibility to locate, mark, and document any and all fines. Coroner Investigators will collect items and CSAR will assist if needed.
