Why csar???

Information gathering and intelligence process can be one of the drivers to the success in locating a Missing Person.

Law Enforcement personnel are trained in their perspective academies on how to investigate missing person incidents.  Guidelines and curricular are established by that agency but only a few hours can be devoted to the subject.  Some, interested in becoming detectives may have additional training in conducting missing person cases.

However, in Search and Recovery, the intelligence process nuance necessary to manage SAR operation may not be apparent to some LE personnel.  Conversely, most SAR management of a missing person incident may have no idea of what is important to LE.

The responsible agency may not have the knowledge, experience, or resources to conduct a systematic search effort.

Cincinnati Search and Recovery uses knowledge of intelligence management of both LE and SAR, through experience and training, to enhance the information gathering process abilities of LE personnel in the initial and extended missing person investigation.  We provide investigators the distinctive knowledge that the responding personnel will help manage the search incident.  The team assists as a force multiplier provided needed equipment and personnel such as Incident Command, search teams, vehicle patrols, search dogs, air support, as well as marine patrol, to conduct a thorough search for missing persons.
